I graduated with honors from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine and completed my specialization in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Akdeniz University. I believe that surgical experience, the selection of the right technique, and personalized planning are crucial in hair restoration. A natural, anatomically appropriate hairline design and a tissue-respecting surgical approach that reduces the risk of complications are essential in hair transplantation. While aiming to reduce the psychological effects of hair loss in both men and women, I also strive to apply medical and scientific supportive treatments and share my experiences globally.

For men with sparse or no beard growth, hair follicles can be harvested using the FUE technique and used to restore the beard. In other words, hair follicles are transferred to the beard area. There is no pain or bruising during or after the operation; however, slight swelling may occur on the face. The first wash of the transplanted beard and face is done 2 days after the operation.
After the operation, small scabs will form around the grafts in the area where the beard transplant was performed, i.e., the cheeks. These scabs will gradually fall off with daily washing over approximately 10 days, and your transplanted area will be clean. A 10-day break will provide the necessary time for you to return to work.
After a beard transplant, some of the transplanted hairs may fall out within the first month; it will take 3-4 months for them to regrow. However, you should know that the final result will only be seen within 1 year. The most important principle in beard transplantation is to achieve a natural result that is undetectable to others. Therefore, a hair transplant plan should be designed to match the individual's natural beard density; it should not be too dense or too sparse. There will be absolutely no scarring on the cheek where the beard is transplanted. The transplanted beard hairs will blend perfectly with the existing hair, and should not create areas with varying beard densities. Unlike hair transplants, approximately 85-90% of the transplanted hair will grow.
For a completely beardless man, approximately 3500-4000 grafts may be needed to create a full beard, mustache, and lower lip area.
